Originally trained as a Graphic Designer, Alan went on to be one of Scotland’s youngest creative heads with a passion for commerce driven design.
One of the early adopters of technologies that took classically trained practices into the realm where creativity knows very little boundaries and complements communications effectively and instantly.
These bank of tools enabled Alan to service the widest range of sectors, from financial blue chips to retail magnates, automotive industry to manufacturing and product development.
Alan went on to become Managing Director of one of Scotland’s most profitable and successful advertising agencies, working with clients like Britannia, Scottish Amicable, British Midland, Ford, and Land Securities.
It was at this point, Alan realized that the conventional model of marketing companies, advertising agencies were not delivering the best ROI for their client base and set about creating a service model that was very personal and client driven.
Alan went on to form SCG, with the goal of developing companies brands and marketing collateral from the ground up.
Looking at the history of businesses, their present structure and their long term objectives. Concentrating on SME enterprises and forward thinking business models, SCG developed a wide client base, working very much in synergy with the client base, to achieve their goals and aspirations.
